Golf's Better When Tiger's Good

I'm sure Rod would agree with the headline; that said, Tiger is probably more interested in resuming his chase of Jack than helping Team Mackay win the pool.  As such, this link compares Tiger's age with Jack's for each of their major victories.  As the chart indicates, at 37, Tiger has to start winning some majors soon if he is going exceed Jack's 18 wins.  Granted, Tiger has a chance to have a more productive later career because he has always been a much more finely tuned athlete than the Golden Bear was, but the talent pool Tiger faces is a lot deeper than it was forty years ago.   Thus, Tiger is a different guy and this is a different time, so who knows how it will turn out, but I think he gets it done.  And, its going to come in a spurt--- wouldn't be suprised if he won three major in the next two years.

  1. Great Job Rob Julien. That concludes the 1st lap and the Dead Yanks went from last in 2012 to winners of the 1st lap. Not that Team MacKay is bitter about losing the lap by less than $4000. It would have been different if Tim Clark had managed better than a 79 on the final day of the WGC.
It's shaping up to be another interesting year!
