Hi guys and welcome to the completely revised look for our 2013PGA Draft season thanks to webmaster Rob Julien. This should make things a lot more fun moving forward. Now that we have the short lived Kris Blanks mini controversy behind us we can start pulling for our respective teams. Just a reminder that there was a typo in the Draft Rules. To clarify, the top 6 teams and the last place team will be in the money. Please get back to Rob as to whether there is an appetite for a weekly pool. I’d also like to suggest a Majors Pool but let’s keep it simple.

Once again the teams seem to getter sharper and sharper with their draft selections every year [eg. No Adam Hadwin type picks, even for the Witnits]. The Dead Yanks seem bound and determined to get out of the basement by bringing the average age of their draft picks to less than 40 years old for the first time in history. It’s early but the Trail Smokeaters selection of Russell Henley in the 5^th round is looking like a huge steal.

Please remember that WGC earnings are applied to a player’s home tour so if you drafted a Non PGA Tour Member and he wins money in the 1^stWGC event don’t email me asking why we missed the money your player earned because we didn’t.

Thanks for the post Rod.  The blog has had 150 page views over the last couple of days, it's great to see everyone using it. 
I like Rod's idea for a majors pool; probably easier to manage than a weekly one for now.  Maybe we can include the Player's Championship, and then see if there is interest to expand to the WGC or other signifcant tournaments.
